A Vim plugin that visualizes the undo tree and lets you browse and switch between undo branches.
Why you might care
Vim keeps undo history as a tree, but its built-in commands only walk it linearly. Undotree shows the branches as a navigable graph so you can jump back to a state that later edits overwrote. It temporarily modifies the buffer without writing to disk, so switching states is reversible.
