JPEG XL in JavaScript with a 30 KB gzip capture encoder and WebGPU acceleration. Rapier’s full image encoder is ~150 KB with lossless, lossy, HDR, exact alpha, WebAssembly and parallel workers. Separate modules for JPEG transcoding and decoding. Zero dependencies. MIT.
