Why you might care
Lets you run ESP-IDF firmware without hardware, including WiFi, BLE, Thread, and Ethernet peripherals, for testing and debugging. Ships as a prebuilt native binary via an installer and also as a browser build on GitHub Pages where firmware stays in your tab. Networking is only available in the native build. Still in beta.
