# Reddrix — An open-source, blazing-fast Reddit Scraper for Python (No Login or API Key)
A powerful, async-first Reddit scraper (with built-in proxy support) for posts and comments with detailed metrics (no login or API key). Scrape subreddits, profiles, and specific posts, or search Reddit site-wide by keywords. Collect rich, structured data including authors, scores, timestamps, post flairs, full comment threads, and more (24+ fields).

> Reddrix works best when provided with a list of proxy URLs (see below). Without proxies, it will still work, but after frequent scrapes, your IP address may start getting more aggressively rate limited.

## Quickstart
**Using Async Context Manager:**
 [code]
**Without the context manager:**
 [code]
**Scraping Posts and Comments Based on Keywords (uses Reddit's current shreddit search engine):**
 [code]
**Using Reddrix as a standalone Reddit http client for your custom scraping setup (has both GET and POST methods):**
 [code]
> [!TIP]
> Random request jittering does not apply when using the GET and POST methods directly, so use your own jittering in this case, or just use the preset scraping setup shown above.
**Using Reddrix with Proxies:**
 [code]
**Stealth Mode:**
By default, `stealth` is set to `adaptive`, which means Reddrix will auto-activate it only when scraping comments. To explicitly make it active all times, set it to `True`. When this mode is active, Reddrix will send the same internal API requests it sends with the wreq client but directly from within the Camoufox browser context using JavaScript fetch. While these requests are being fired in the background, Reddrix will make human-like, random mouse hovering in the page. The key **advantage** of this strategy is that it is much more undetectable because it avoids the fingerprint drift that occurs when harvesting cookies from a browser and using them in another HTTP client. Also, the majority of the scraping speed is preserved because the browser isn't really waiting for navigation or clicking elements aside from the random mouse movements it is doing in the home page. The **disadvantage** is that the stealth mode is resource-heavy.
To explicitly disable this mode, set `stealth` to `False`. This way, Camoufox will only be used as a cookie harvester, while wreq will use these cookies to make all the HTTP requests. The **advantage** is that this setup is much less resource-intensive, while the **disadvantage** is that it gets detected quickly when scraping lots of comments.
Example Code:

## Features
- 🚀 **Async-First:** High-performance asynchronous scraping with `asyncio` and an async iterator for streaming results.
- 🥷 **Adaptive Stealth**: Optionally enable the `stealth`
