Why you might care
Lets you run Cloudflare Workers code with KV, D1, R2, Durable Objects, Queues and other bindings on your own hardware, without Kubernetes or Redis. It adds the multi-tenant routing, state and deployment layer that the bare workerd runtime lacks. Local filesystem and SQLite are the defaults, with S3-compatible storage optional.
