torrentplayer / torrentplayer
git clone https://github.com/torrentplayer/torrentplayer.git
v0.3.0 · 4d ago
Desktop app that streams torrent video and audio directly from the swarm, with fast seeking to any point.
Why you might care
Aimed at people who watch or listen to torrented media and want playback without waiting for full downloads. It fetches the part you seek to first, so skipping resumes in about a second per the authors' measurements, and it needs no server, account, or separate torrent client.
