A patch for the official Instagram Android app that removes the feed, Reels, Explore and ads while keeping DMs, stories and search.
Why you might care
Aimed at people who want Instagram's messaging and stories without endless scrolling. Unlike WebView clients or accessibility-service blockers, it patches the real app, and its patches are public so they can be audited. Built as an updatable successor to the unmaintained DFInstagram; you can build the APK yourself. Unofficial and may violate Instagram's terms.
